As part of a recent road trip to Arizona, we wanted to travel along parts of the historic ‘Route 66’. This was taken in the town of Seligman which lies about 30 miles west of Williams.
A single RAW shot, handheld with a Nikon D300s and a Nikkor 24/85 lens set at a focal length of 38mm, other settings are F4.5 and a shutter speed of 1/800th.

Two copies were created and together with the original were post processed in Photomatix pro 3 to create an HDR image. Finally it was converted into black and white and levels tweaked with CS5.
