The bare branches of this solitary tree were taken in the grip of winter near Entwistle (Lancashire), in the north west of England and shot in raw with a Nikon D300s and a Nikon 70-300 lens.

Settings are
Focal length 165mm
Shutter speed 1/80 sec
ISO 100
F stop F13
