Taken on Bolton’s town hall square. Bolton is located in the north west of England. The original Bolton Town Hall was opened on June 5th 1873 by HRH Prince Albert of Wales.
Bolton Town Tall was ravaged by fire on November 14th 1981. This destroyed the original, old Albert Hall, but the rest of the building was saved. This was rebuilt into the new Albert Halls and Festival Halls.
Shot in RAW and in Manual mode with a Nikon D300s and a Sigma 10-20 wide-angle lens, set at a focal length of 12mm. Other settings include an ISO value of 100, F27 and a shutter speed of 10 seconds. A 0.6 heliopan filter was attached and the camera was tripod mounted.
Post processed in Adobe RAW and converted into black and white in CS5.
