Pastel on canvas board, 1984
This pastel drawing was submitted to the Cental Artist’s Comittee of the USSR in 1984 for their Poster Competition entitled “For Peace and Humanism and against the threat of Nuclear War”. I was awarded a Diploma (which I still cant read) for my efforts. The original was ‘lost’ somewhere in Moscow.
I gave the first print of a Limited Edition to President Bill Clinton after the fall of the Berlin wall as a gesture for the ideal of Peace, and so the image would be in Washington as well as Moscow.

Awesome. That’s great that you sent it on. This could be the poster for many different organizations in this world today

  • So glad you agree CheyAnne. You must be clairvoyant.
