Through the window.... by Steve Chapple

Looking in through the window of an old ruin near "The Gap’ Mannum South Australia.

Many thanks to Dave Hartley for taking me to these old ruins hidden away in heavy tree growth.

The ruins stand defiant but many family members of the owners have engraved their names into the interior walls.

This shot was taken from outside in the gloom of the trees looking into an inner wall that was bathed in afternoon delight. The beautiful green and yellow hues created by the moss and mould that grows in the damp.

Canon 7D 17 – 85 lens @ 59
ISO 320 F 9 1/250th sec.
