Settled back deep in the shadows this last leaf of winter held on grimly whilst new buds started to form on the same branch.

No matter what the weather, wind, season or everything else threw at it – it just hung in there. Maybe we could all learn something from that…..!

Canon 7D, 17 – 85 lens with two stage extension tubes @ focal length of 50.
ISO 400 – 1/250th second.
