The largest Photographic Art Show of it’s type in South Australia with over $6,000 in prize money is looking for entries.
Please consider having a go at entering this event now in it’s second year. Country Australian artists won many of the categories last year so it is simply a matter of putting your work out there.
Entries close 15th March 2011 with delivery of the entries required by 8th April 2011.
Landscape, Nature and Portrait awards with $1,000 first prize, Mayoral, Kimberley Clark Open award both worth $1,000. Don Ferguson memorial and Under nineteen awards worth $500. Plus peoples choice and other awards.
Judged by members of the SA Photographic Federation and organised by the Rotary Club of Millicent.

Many of my friends here on redbubble have been asking about the Photography Courses that I run in conjunction with Marcus Jones from marcus Jones Photography.

The courses are being offered in regional South Australia and Western Victoria at this stage and over 160 people have taken part in “Getting out of Auto” – Lighting – Landscape – photoshop and body-form fine art sessions so far. Steve Chapple and Marcus Jones have jointly started Mastering Photography, a business dedicated to teaching all aspects of photography.

Our next beginners course will be held on Sunday 11th of April in Millicent in the South East of S.A.

The course runs from 10.00 am until 4.00 p.m. with two models. Learn what those settings on your camera are for, how to get out of auto mode and how to shoot in a variety of lighting conditions within a factory setting. Hi everyone. I have received a request from a newly joined RB member Crsytalkimber wanting to buy an image of mine away from redBubble.

This may well be a legitimate request but with the number of others that have been plying everyone with requests I thought I might check to see if any of you have received a similar bubblemail.
