Lines and Light.

Lines and Light.

During last weeks trip to Melbourne I went on an evening stroll and found this line of columns and light at the front of the General Post office (GPO) in the heart of the city.

The lines and shapes made for an interesting almost abstract look.

The tunnel effect here puzzled me at first as there seemed to be a line working bottom right to top left as well. It was as if the bottom left of the shot separated itself from the rest of the image…...maybe it was just because I was tired by then!!!!!

Now that I look at it again is it a line that works from bottom Left to the right????

Lines – lines – lines….....

to my eyes there is a tiny left tilt on the perspective in the foreground, which by the time your eyes have travelled to the arch that is the rear focus has completely disappeared – curious but fab effect. Love the lighting & colours
