Backwaters of the River Murray at Lyrup near sunset, late afternoon.
Majestic old dead gums still standing out against the skyline.
These flats are situated near Lyrup in the Riverland area of South Australia between Berri and Renmark. A great place for sunrise or sunset.

Thank you as usual for your support and comments. This is actually salt from the degradation of the river flats from the drought. the water is mirror sill and gives the impression of ice.
