Who's on top?
A scene reminiscent of some work places – everyone trying to climb to the top!
Seems these snails felt the need to climb high onto an old fence post between Carpenters Rocks and Blackfellows Caves in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.
This is a common sight at this time of the year where common paddock snails congregate on anything off the ground…

Thanks Dharna, yea’h it certainly would be cooler down in the grass but they do this for weeks on end, a couple of times a year!

So funny to see this. It used to happen every year in my backyard in West Australia.
