The Runway

The Runway

Rick and Gypsy walking along the Beachport Jetty, (second longest in South Australia), at Beachport in the Limestone Coast region.

The jetty is currently under repairs and handrails and railway tracks have been removed, creating the flat unguarded jetty you see here.

Stretching into the distance like a runway!

Canon 400D 18-55 lens 3 shot HDR in photomatix.

The Runway belongs to the following groups:

Canon DSLR (One Image Per Day & A Canon Camera Must Be In The Description Before It's Accepted), Nautical, Piers and Jetties and TUNNEL VISION (photography only) Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

It looks a bit scarey without the handrails and I quite liked the railway tracks that were on here. How long for the repairs to be done, Steve? Great shot, anyway.

  • Steve Chapple replied

Thanks Elana, I don’t think the railway tracks are going back and they will close it again next week for about a month and half before re-opening completed. Thanks for your ongoing support.
