Sets of them out there Shane. A lot are not full circles but in an area of 20×20 sq metres there would have been forty of them. The grass or reed is quite stiff and droops over so the brittle ends dig in quite deep. remind me to show you next trip down.

Besides the obviously great eye and photographic excellence, what really astounds me is how the wind is just enough to move the reed yet not strong enough to disturb the grains of sand and cover up the circle. Such subtle differences in nature. It’s refreshing to me since we often see the immense forces of nature but miss the truly subtle ones.
