Rymill Coonawarra reds are perhaps my favourite red in the world. While studying wine the Coonawarra Cabernet, is the drop that I fell in love with. Rymills had an excellent 2006 Cabernet Sauvingon. I would recomend it with Kangaroo, if you eat skippy.

Coonawarra is one of those regions that anyone would feel happy to call home. It’s charming, reaceful and friendly.

    Nice picture.

  • Steve Chapple replied

Thanks again for the comment. Yes Coonawarra my favorite, we (Smarti77) and I have an exhibition at Rymill at the moment. Great people great wine. Drink a fair bit of Hollicks, Zema, and just about everything else from over there as well. This image scored me a second prize in the Coonawarra Penola Acquisitive art Comp as well, so I was happy with both outcomes!

i remember this winery well Stephen, great shot !
The winery is guarded by two bronze sculptured stallions; from memory, i think the two stallions were named after the twin sons of Zeus.
