The skeleton of a leaf lies on the grass next to the outstretched leg of a man. The man is sitting above a bay of water. He realises that his leg has pins and needles, from having sat in the one position for such a long time. He stands to stretch it out. He stamps his foot repeatedly, but is careful not to disturb the skeleton leaf, which rests gently on the tips of the grass.
