I love the place I live. Vermont is a unique landscape and you never know what you are going to come across next on the dirt road you have chosen to drive down. I like to photgraph the Vermont that people don’t normally see.
I also like to phograph dark images. Things that are unsettling, things that hurt and things that may send shivers down your spine.
Many of my pictures are self portraits which has its pros and cons. I have a hard time looking at my face, it just never seems to look the way I want it too. It is also hard to look at yourself in a photo where the character is supposed to be dead.
I like doing self portraits because sometimes you see things that you never knew were there. Not physical things, but things about your inner person. Feelings that never made sense come to the surface.
I like happy pictures too. They just are not as dramatic as the dark ones.
Besides Photography I love the outdoors and hiking. I am also and avid runner and run everyday. I just graduated from Keene State College where I ran track and cross country for all four years. Now I run for a team called Boston Athlectic association which is sponsored by Adidas. I am absolutly passionate about running.
I also love animals and I worked at a Veterinary Clinic for 10 years starting when I was 14. I have met a lot of great animals and great people and had many great expierences. Animals can teach you a lot if you listen to them even if they do not use words.
