Microscope view of the mineral Dragon Stone, which makes a beautiful abstract image. I can see the fiery breath of the dragon trapped forever in the stone of its namesake – what can you see? It’s all natural stone from the Glenn Archer mine in Western Australia.

Formed by stacking two images at different focal lengths to compensate for limitations in the microscope optics.

This is lovely Stephanie, I see a fiery sky. It must be lovely to take photos through a microscope, where this is a world that most of us never see, Terry
