Back to reality!

Hey all! I’m back in the groove…my vacation and birthday was amazing, couldn’t have asked for better weather, and each day was so much fun. So happy to come back and see pages and pages of new art in the painted ladies group! Keep up the great work everyone!!

Here are a few of my many many pictures of the trip…

"The Pink Show"

“The Pink Show” was held on October 1st Art Hop @ Chris Sorensen’s gallery on Van Ness. The show was beautiful and the turnout was great, all of the pink and purple artworks were so gorgeous! I don’t know yet if my piece sold…if it does a portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research.

I also just found out that my painting will be on the cover of the KVPR Audiophile magazine, which is a publication for local public radio. Thank you to Jay Parks for making that happen, and can’t wait to see it!

In the background is Kathryn Pedroza’s beautiful artwork

1,000 views for Lost in the Garden of Eden painting!

I am so happy that ~ Lost in the Garden of Eden ~ hit 1,000 views today!

To some of you that’s probably not a big thing, but in my own “gallery” I don’t have any others that are even close to that amount, so it’s a pretty cool thing for me!

Thank you to everyone who has wanted to take a closer look at my art!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Anyone want to co-host a *Painted Nature* group?

I’ve been searching for weeks for a group that is accepting of painting nature scenes – whether surreal, realism, bright and colorful, dreamy, fantasy, etc….basically anything that involves nature and animals together. This can also include people in the paintings as well. And the animals don’t have to be a real animal. They can be an animal that you created with you your own imagination.

This group would not allow any photography, because there area a TON of groups for this already.

So if anyone is interested in Co-hosting this group with me please let me know so that I can submit the group request to RedBubble. I think it is a group that is lacking in the RB community.

Thanks guys!!

I changed my Avatar in honor of my great auntie Arline.

I hope I don’t confuse anyone, it’s still me, stephanie allison!! This past weekend I went up to visit my family in Salinas and also went to my Autnie’s house who passed away a couple of months ago. She was a very special lady, we shared the same birthday and she was also a painter, who dabbled in Oils, watercolor, colored pencil, pastels, etc… She also took me to plays all the time, collected stamps with me, and taught me how to play the piano when I was a child. It is a strange thing to have to go to her house and pick out items of hers that we’d like to have. I feel like I’m invading her privacy even though she is no longer with us. However, my cousin Ida and my brother and I had too much fun dressing in Auntie’s vintage clothes like we use…

Thank you to the Tiger, Tiger group!!

I want to thank the Tiger, Tiger group and the hosts: Patricia Anne McCarty and Mark Peterson for featuring 3 of my Tiger paintings over the past few weeks! I absolutely love to paint “big cats”. So thank you to this great group for inspiring me to paint more of them in the future!

Currently Featured!

and in the past couple weeks, these two were featured!!

Thank you ♥

My first Redbubble Homepage feature...

…and I missed it! the one day I decide to not go on-line I find out my piece “Skin Deep” was featured for drawing day on June 6th! I am so excited, yet kicking myself at the same time because i didn’t get to see it there! I was busy shopping for an 80’s party and then going to the birthday party that night, oh well, what can ya do right?

That’s me on the far right, heheh!

Thank you sooooo much RedBubble!
