Street Angel
The sculpture at Angel, N1, by Wolfgang Buttress and Fiona Heron, is a striking tubular structure in the shape of an angel’s wings. Nearby there is a halo hanging in the street, sculpted in the same style. The sculpture brings a touch of beauty to an otherwise uninspiring cinema complex and that is exactly what my London Project is about – perfect!
The London Project is an attempt to portray the many sides of this diverse city. It will, when complete, contain 119 images – one from each of London’s postcode areas. More details on the London Project, including the full portfolio of images, can be found at www.sftnet.co.uk.
