Get To The Point
CentrePoint, at the junction of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, is another controversial London landmark – the aesthetics of its concrete exo-skeleton are often insulted and the building was the subject of many conspiracy theories concerning its use when it was left empty for many years immediately following its completion.
I set out to show the building in a different light. The reflections of the glass panels and the widely varying tones produced by the shape of the concrete give the image a more upbeat feel than most would associate with this concrete beast, and the bright sky and scudding clouds complete the mood..

G’day Stephen,
Your treatment of this towering subject is brilliant. You have, as you said, portrayed it as something to be admired. It is shown here at a dynamic angle in good light with wonderful depth of field, focus, contrast and tonal range, at its very best.
I am impressed by the architecture as well as your great photography and processing.
