Zoomed in a bit more on this one. I removed the power lines – again – and took some advice and removed the blackberry bushes from the foreground. Other than that, adjustments were made to saturation, levels, clarity and vibrance.
Personally, I haven’t come to terms with what I think is acceptable when it comes to altering a photograph. I don’t have a problem adjusting levels, saturation, hues or anything else that someone could do in a darkroom with traditional film. I’m just not sure about actually removing elements from a photograph. Is it really my photograph then? These things were in the original shot and are, unfortunately, part of our perfect, yet imperfect world.
Until then, here’s House of Hues II.
