There I was standing at the bar, somehow chatting with President Obama. It’s true, he really is a decent & down to earth regular guy, engaging, & funny too. I offered to buy him a drink, I had a Weisbier, I think he went for a gin & tonic funnily enough. Anyway, I was volunteering to work for him – "in any capacity whatsoever" is the way I put it. He smiled & was just about to answer me when the damn alarm on my phone rudely awoke me at 6am from that wonderful dreamy reverie…

Less than two hours later I’m about 50 miles away sitting in my car at the roadside looking at this image on my camera thinking that just one bird stood out among so many against the pre dawn sky, a special bird, an Obama Bird if you will, thought I.

I can’t seem to get the man out of my mind, asleep, or awake!

Not the only one at the moment I’m sure…

First we had JFK, now we’ve got a second inspirational Oirish American President in the House that’s White. Excellent!
