Making Babies - from A to Z
By The Reichstag, Berlin one overcast friday morning in April. They were oblivious, besotted. I was about 4 or 5 metres from them taking shots of people crossing on a suspended walkway between two lagre government buildings. I swung my lens around more than a couple of times for some candid photography. They really were oblivious, bless ‘em. A question – do people in love always close their eyes just before they kiss like here?

oh how beautiful and i agree with the others people in love want to be lost in the wonderful sensations of love and desire. How sad that marriage and time unfortunately normally kills it so that we who once were partakers now become mere spectators.

People don’t always kiss with their eyes closed when they are in love- I love to look into my partners eyes. But some say its a trust thing. I don’t believe it.

Beautiful candid. They look so engrossed. Closing your eyes before you kiss is apparently a sign of trust. Like the title and the fact that there’s a woman pushing a baby’s pram in the distance. Lovely idea!!

you close your eyes cause you just want to take in the moment and the feelings, without getting distracted, everything is out of focus up that close anyway, plus its awkward if you know the other person doesnt have their eyes closed.. when you kiss that person you love, its not just a kiss…
