i guess all your pics with ships travelling past should have given it away! lol…I have yet to head that far south….I am orginally from Adelaide and have done all the breaks from Adelaide to Torquay and back and down to Yorkes the other side of Adelaide..up here ive done Sunshine coast to Coffs Harbour…

I was saw Peter crawford out at warriwood point syd, when I was young, the guy ripped. mark nobbycoff was also hanging around Narrabeen where I frequented, also a legend.

that’s him, I remember seeing him in the water all the time, I didn’t know him personally but you never forget once you’ve seen him rip.

ok, is he still in the water? I wished I’d find waves this big and clean, which isn’t often in Sydney anyway, and not without the stupid crowds. There has been a long board revival for a decade or more and every T,D & Harry has hit the water again.

yeh I saw most of them, and am stunned at the quality, tracks here we come.

well I’ve never seen better, and as a surfer I’ve seen 30 years worth of shots, they are artistic as well as action, and that is difficult. It reminds me of a film I was meant to see, a young surfer filmed a very artistic surf film, instead of the usual tits, wave, bum, wipeout, tits, fast forward driving, more tits, wave. He did a really great mix of tiny waves about 5” high and did a slow mo and great odd angles and stuff, really hot music, and every producer rejected it. I heard he finally showed it and it was a sell-out. So never give up if one has a dream I say. Especially in this saturated market.

I haven’t seen a knee boarder since I was 15. That was at a point in north east tassie called lulworth. Aaah the memories. Maybe I should put the glass of chardonnay down. Good pic dude.
