Thank you for visiting my site.

Photography continues to be my passion and I am now back at it and hope to pan it out to the professional arena that I never made it to before.

Even so, I love to capture images and I believe my eyes see things others do not and will always continue whether professional or ametuer. I’d rather do paid photo shoots for people who desire a different look than to sell myself out as a commercial artist, although, I am not totally against the idea of doing commercial work. My goal is to be published and share my images to the extent that people become familiar with my work and thus, seek it out and demand it.

I most love to photograph cars, structures, the outdoors, mountains, sunsets, and clouds and even nature. I like to try photographing different subjects and am always adding new items of interest to my line of sight. Whatever my mind and eye sees as a photograph, it may become a captured image by me.

My Background in photography:
I have been taking photos since I was a little girl and received my first polaroid ‘One Step’ instant camera when I was about 10. From the start, I loved seeing and photographing the many images of life around us. Growing up and continuing to live in northwest Washington state has provided me with many great photo opportunities.

As I grew so did my cameras and my photography skills. I graduated from the polaroid to a Kodak instamatic camera then to a 110 camera and finally onto a Yashica FX-D 35mm SLR camera by the time I was in high school. While in high school, I learned darkroom processing of black and white 35mm film. Uh-oh, dating myself. Some of you may remember what that it is like to actaully develop film and expose photos on photo paper.

In college, I majored in photography but unfortunately, became very sick in my second year of college and spent a month in the hospital dying – I lived (YAY for ME!) and made it thru but did not get to finish my major.

I’ve taken many 35mm film shots over the years in my busy other life.Several years ago I purchased a Canon Rebel XT and fell in love with digital. I am finally back to photography.
