Thanks for visiting!
Since childhood I have been interested in the ability of photographs to capture a moment in time.
Although I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, today I live in a hundred year old farmhouse near Morrison, Tennessee.
During my early 20’s I lived in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan for two years. While there I first began serious work in photography.
Beginning with original photographs I use my computer as a darkroom. Where these “darkroom” experiments take me is always exciting. I may create an impressionistic landscape, find the small part of the larger whole, or create a vivid mandala or abstract.
In addition to numerous regional and national awards, I was featured in Photography Forum’s 2004 and 2005 Best of Photography Annual.
On the leading edge of the Baby Boomer generation, I explore the back roads of America in my classic VW Westie (hippie van).
