A Truck Driver with a camera…
oh!! opossums are simply adorable. nice picture Thomas. you don’t even have to do thousands of miles to find cool subjects ;)
This one came calling Sunday night and just sat in the corner of my back porch and would not move as long as the porch light was on. I left and came back two time with different lens’s.

Oh lucky you! My dogs would scare them away… though I reckon I hear some in the roof sometimes.Lovely capture T!
I have not seen him since….The poor fellow was not happy in the corner with the light on him….
He’s got a dirty nose…lol…so did you give him some food??? Nice capture!
Nope no food…I am just a grumpy old fart…lol….
Ahhhh…the poor wee thing… :-(lol
He is probably out back in the trees if you want to come feed him……
That’s a long way to go feed a Possum…Ah! common…give him something! :-)
It’s only a couple of inches on my Rand Mcnally map ????
that is awfully close!!!!!! I wouldn’t have gotten near it. They are vicious, even though they are so beautifully interesting
I took this with my 300 mm lens so I could keep a little distance…It did not want to move as long as the light was on him…
He’s kinda cute? Great capture Thomas!!
Looked cute,,,but I let him be after the photo shoot :)))
Excellent detail in this little guy! I see them occasionally (and I live in the city), and they really do freeze when spotted. I do find them rather scary, though.
I did not know that they would freeze like that……
Nasty looking beast but then they are scavengers. Great closeup, home you used the long lens
Yep I used a 300 mm for this shot…I did not want to find out if it was nasty or not…:)
