The remains of beach defences at Talacre, North Wales, UK. These are the remains of a machine gun post, also known as a Pill Box. These defences were built along this stretch of the West Coast of The United Kingdom during World War II. It was believed that a seabourne invasion was a possibilty from the Irish Sea.
