My love of the sea stems from my childhood. I was born in Hartlepool on the North East coast and visited the little fishing village of Staithes often, as I still do today. The fishing cobles to be found on the North East coast serve as my models.
Oh my goodness Sue, I am in awe of your work here, I mean as soon as I opened this up I got chills big time, your skills as a creator though paint really is rich and full of depth and dimension that I don’t see all the time.. I am now in Wow land
I can’t believe that I have missed these comments. You have made my day, especially as I am actually struggling with my painting today so thought I would look through my rb collection…and I see your wonderful comments. Thank you so much!

Love the depth of this and especially adore the abstracted rock, one of my favorite things!

Thank you Michelle.
Thank you for taking me back to near my old home town of Chesterfield Sue. I have seen Froggatt Edge so many times but you have captured it superbly here. I really must travel down and photograph the area again as sadly all my old 35mm photographs were lost some years ago.
Thank you so much, how awful losing work, I hate that. You must go back and photograph this amazing area again.
