My love of the sea stems from my childhood. I was born in Hartlepool on the North East coast and visited the little fishing village of Staithes often, as I still do today. The fishing cobles to be found on the North East coast serve as my models.

    Ahhh boats Sue…
    which one to comment on….
I kind of liked this one!!!
Just watching the news here in Aust with all the horror of the Japanese tsunami & one ponders what would have happened to little boats like these
    Cheers Lee

  • Thank you Lee, yes, me too. It is just horrendous what is happening in Japan, so much death and destruction and more to come I am afraid.
