My love of the sea stems from my childhood. I was born in Hartlepool on the North East coast and visited the little fishing village of Staithes often, as I still do today. The fishing cobles to be found on the North East coast serve as my models.
port mulgrave eh……I was just looking at some images from there….it is a strange place though kinda deserted
It is one of the strangest places on earth!

Beautiful Sue, those wooden boards on the seat look ready to lift any minute!

Ahhh boats Sue…which one to comment on….I kind of liked this one!!!Just watching the news here in Aust with all the horror of the Japanese tsunami & one ponders what would have happened to little boats like theseCheers Lee
Thank you Lee, yes, me too. It is just horrendous what is happening in Japan, so much death and destruction and more to come I am afraid.
love your sea style and stormy weather and movement of the water and having lived on an island for four years this boat especially appeals to me
Thank you, Nora, I really appreciate you stopping by:)
