Artist's Description

Whitby is an old fishing port on the North East coast of England. The red pantile roof tops are a striking feature as well as the small fishing boats that still sail from the river Esk out to sea.
Whitby is also famous for it’s Abbey and is featured in Bram Stoker’s book Dracula.
