I have saved a large image with a lot of people on. Sometimes when I don´t know what to paint, I get my inspiration from that image. I looks at the image up side down and only paint the light and shadows without thinking of the motive. When I´m ready I look at the painting from the right angle and gets a surprise!
Ink on rice paper.

oh ive done that technique that you talk about in your inspiration! thanks for reminding me. i first did it 20 years ago out of the book ‘drawing from the right side of the brain.’
I often works like that. I have a course leader (since more than 25 years. Gosh, what I´m old…) for about 20 years ago she held courses after the book you are mentioning. She inspired me to start to work like this.

I just love the… “IT JUST HAPPENS”… It’s like life… it’s what we make out of “what just happens”… it’s all art… some just seems better than some other!!!!
