I believe that after 50, we start to show our life on our faces. I also believe that imperfection is sheer beauty, waiting to be discovered.

Here’s a picture of a 71 year old man, recently recuperating from heart surgery. I like the lines on his face, it shows character. It shows that years ago there was strength and determination.

I also love the fact that he was brave enough to toss on a ‘beanie’ for this shot.

Bravo!

Greetings All, I am a survivor. I see life through a very unique filter these days. Every moment, every insignificant event matters. I use a Canon 500D with a variety of different lenses. I adore dogs. I am a staunch advocate of the much maligned ‘underdog’, both in the canine world and also outside of it. The world is full of beauty – this I know. Happy snapping fellow travellers.

  • Thank you, I wonder if we look similar? It would be a little uncanny! LOL.
