Moon Glow

“So, pick it up,” He said.
“What? Me?”
“Of course. I’mlookingrightatyou.”

Sliding in rounding up
closing door shuffling feet
swinging hands meet
hearts folding open wide

“Ok, now what?” she asked.
“It reminds me of you.”
“How so?”
“It’s just in the way you move,” He said

It’s all in the way she moves
It’s all in the way she lets down her hair
It’s all in the way she moves
It’s all in the way her eyes light up His sky

Hey God, I wrote a poem and it reminds me of you. Well, it reminds me of…. us.

Hands unraveling petals
Rose blooming
Hair shivering
Moon glow
