Well until Christmas I am donating all of my proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House Charity to help children and families in need…I know that it is not a cancer charity…but..anyhoo..I am so glad that we are all trying to make the world a better place and help others!

    I have two -

    The CNIB and The SPCA
(Canadian National Institute for the Blind and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – aka “The Shelter”)

I don’t think I made journal entries – I just put notices on the sale items.

Actually, this journal entry got me thinking that it might be nice to have a Charity Group – not to focus on our own individual charities, but perhaps as a group select one charity three times a year that each member of the group supports…I’m not sure but the logistics of keeping together and sending out the donation might be a nightmare though?

I am giving all sales on my Christmas photo to Charles Dobbs charity. My two African shots will go to Mayfair Baptist church in Johannesburg who feed these people in despair. Thanks for doing this.

I donate all my proceeds to animal groups. :) I think Mundy Hackett does the same, and there is also a group “Art for Conservation” whose members donate all or part of their proceeds to animal/nature charities. This is a great idea, Stacy. Thanks for doing it. :)

    Stacy,
    GREAT idea!
Suni, I agree, Ronald McDonald House Charities is a wonderful organization. They were there for my family when we needed them.
My two charities that I share proceeds with are:
    1. The Council For Responsible Genetics. They are the authors of The Genetic Bill of
    Rights.
    2. The Big Box of Colors www.thebigboxofcolors.org
The Big Box of Colors uses donations to send crayons to children all over the world in hospitals, orphanages, refugee camps, etc. A new charity, small. Afterall, we probably all started our artist path with crayons! The site is well worth the look!

    Blessings,

I wish there were a way an artist would join with some of my poetry to help raise funds by selling cards for the Wales Air Ambulance Charity, of which I am a volunteer. Any ideas on how this could be acheived please shout as I only just joined the site. I have put a few examples of my work on for those who may be interested.

I am new to RedBubble.I would like to add my name to those that are supporting a range of programs and charities. The proceeds that i hope to earn from the photographs that i am putting on RedBubble will go to support a remote rural village in Bangladesh. I have been doing some volunteer work there for the last 3 years. We have dinners, raffles, movie nights etc to raise funds and recently we established ourselves as the Healthy Communities Foundation in order to apply for tax status. But the important thing is that all our money is going to support the women and children in the Kalakopa Village to build a school and a primary health care centre.
I look forward to learning more about RedBubble and learning from all the wonderful work I see on the site

cheers Rochelle (ps still organising a photo that I like to put up)

Stacy, I pulled my seasonal card and so you may wish to remove me from the list.

Incidentally no one made a purchase so no cash was raised via that method :(
