CURED'S Million Dollar Mi$$ion (for my son!)

My Son Timothy, has an eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID). He is unable to EAT ANY FOOD WHAT-SO-EVER! He gets his nutrition from formula through a feeding tube surgically placed into his stomach!
You may not have heard of this disease, but it is very debilitating to
those who have it. It can cause the body to reject all types of foods
and force the patient to survive only on a very expensive amino acid formula, either by drinking it, or having a feeding tube surgically placed in their stomach. Eating food makes him incredibly sick! VERY SICK! IN THE HOSPITAL SICK! It’s NOT food allergies! It’s a disease! His white blood cells cause the problems!

People who have EGID also have to have routine scopes, involving anesthesia and a camera passed down their esophagus and/or colon to take biopsies.

Think about how you would feel if the one thing that is supposed to
nourish all people made you so sick. Now, think how wonderful it would be if this could be cured, and if YOU could help be a part of the cure.

Members of an online group are starting what we’re calling the CURED million dollar mission. CURED is a foundation that stands for the Campaign Urging Research for Eosinophilic Disease. (www.CUREDfoundation.org for more information) 100% of the money raised will go to research to cure this awful disease.
All you have to do is take a dollar out of your wallet. That’s one
dollar. Skip the dollar menu at taco bell today, or don’t buy a soda
at lunch. On that dollar write “In Honor of (name of someone fighting an EGID)” and send it in to:
CURED
Million Dollar Mission
P.O. Box 32
Lincolnshire, IL 60069

Thank you for your support and for helping to cure this disease to
create a better life for those who suffer from it! Feel free to send
more that $1 if you know several people who are fighting this disease!
