Her background hand enhances the 3D of her face and really gives the viewer a really feeling of closeness to her. Great expression captured and I like the square format of this shot that works very well.
Sheila Smith replied
Thank you Paul. I am pleased with this one, not least because it is Zaire.

Sheila Smith replied
Thank you Ben. Love the Penguin
Teresa Burnett
She is so beautiful Sheila! I love the way you caught her looking over her shoulder!
Sheila Smith replied
Thank you Teresa. Sometimes if you are on your own and you show her a pair of socks she likes she will clap. On the other hand sometimes she turns her back as if to say they are rubbish.
Lisa G. Putman
Wow, so does that the instinct to feel embarrassed or ashamed when caught picking the nose run true through other primates, other than humans. Or was, it learned by conditioning? Awesome capture, Sheila. I love those eyes!
Sheila Smith replied
To be honest Lisa I think it is more likely that she was worrying about being asked to share! I have actually seen them picking each others nose. Too much hey. Zaire really does have the best expressions.
