Little Tree 26 by Sean Seal

Currently unavailable for purchase

This is number 26 in my “Zen Tree” series. Read more of my thoughts about this piece and other stuff in my journal. -Productivity? This is a daily painting exercise I do and rather enjoy. Right now I am particularly inspired by the fall colors here in Michigan where I live. Painted using Winsor Newton artist watercolor paint on Strathmore 400 series 140lb. coldpress watercolor paper.

It’s a combination really. I wasn’t looking at a photo or an actual tree while painting it, but I have been trying to observe trees every day for inspiration for the next tree. Sometimes it’s the color, sometimes it’s the structure. I try to just let the tree happen. Hope that makes sense.
