Cat Fish Blues II

Scott Ruhs

Cat Fish Blues II

This was taken on a very foggy day at Long Cove near West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada.

It was named “Cat Fish Blues” because it looks like the boat had jumped out of the water, and because of the feeling of sadness or loneliness it invoked in me.

This is a new version of an old image. The old version had a lot of post production that may have been too much. I liked the look of it when it is small, but looking back and seeing it enlarged I prefer the more subtle treatment on this version.

Cat Fish Blues II is available in all print formats offered by RedBubble.

Like the little train that could this boat is gonna get to the top come hell or high water!
I agree Scott sometime the simple approach is the best. I like this version.

Thanks, Von! I tried printing the previous version a while back and was disappointed in the result. It was always one of my favorites of my own. I like this version better too.
