FOR THE MOMENT...

You disturb me.
My words flounder.
Me, always knowing what to say…
Have I met you at a time,
when it wasn’t convenient…
And if free, would I turn and run away?

Your look probes right through me
…unnerves me, with your laidback, peaceful style.
Do you sense the real me, or the me that needs to be?
For the moment, I’ll wonder, and smile.
