Well I think it’s a gerbera! I bought 3 daisy type plants from Lidl’s the other day……… Now I am having problems with them already! I watered them when I got them home, and the creamy coloured one’s flowers started to droop! It soon picked up again. Since then I have seen them all droop a bit at times! Does anyone know if they like full sunlight? Do they drink gallons? Do they stay alive for years? I was going to plant them under my Sago palm which will provide quite a bit of shade., but now worried what sort of environment they like!

Nikon D40 18-55mm and +4 screw on macro filter.

I thank all the fabulous artists on Redbubble for inspiring me to improve my photography. These days I mostly take portrait shots and on a part-time basis do so for money! lovely macro, Celia … sorry, I’ve never kept Gerberas or daisies, so I can’t help you there!! xx

  • Thanks Sarah I have just found some info on teh net and it says they like sunlight to flower, so I think i’ll try them in a patio pot, then i’ll plant them in teh back garden in the autumn and see if they survive unless they really like the pot and then they can stay there, and if they hate it, they can move out back sooner!!!!

sounds a good strategy, patio pots look pretty too :o) We haven’t even started planting ours yet for the summer, but then again we could be moving in a few months time!
