This pretty little pink flower is in bloom on all the wasteland at the moment. No idea what it is but thought it was quite pretty!

A very pretty flower for a weed, love the presentation. There is a flower that looks identical to that growing in my neighbours garden, the difference being it is white. It is a weed with very pretty flowers, but it spreads very quickly and the shoots come up everywhere and strangle other plants and flowers. If it is the same it is called Convulvus or Bindweed, there are several different species of it. I have just googled it and there are pics of it in white and pink. Take a look to see if you think it is the same flower.

Yes I know bindweed, I constantly battled against it in the UK! It doesn’t seem so rampant here, but maybe it is because once it gets dry it will die! Also i think the leaves are different, but yes the flowers are very very similar so maybe related.
