Resting in the sun
Scruffy dog sitting in the sun in our sunroom. Fiddled with in PSP but haven’t a clue what I did now! Various duplicate layers, blending and masking!
To comply with group rules:
Started photography May 2008
Nikon D40 18-55mm at 18mm, natural light.
I found Scruffy 2 months ago on wild campo land in Spain. She was pregnant, full of ticks, fleas and worms! Thanks to a local animal charity, they vacinated her and speyed her. She is the cheekiest, funniest and most adorable dog you could wish for.

Very sweet capture Celia and nice treatment. Scruffy is certainly a little cutie.

She’s a doll! So long as you can’t see her mouth!

It appears they don’t know great art when they see it…..lol
Squealia replied
LOL! Personal taste I guess, we all like different stuff, this one they rejected as they felt it was more suitable for another group (polite way of saying it’s rubbish) and the other was rejected as it was rubbish and could be improved! Ironically I was trying something different with them both and really liked them! hahaha!

Rejected from animal portraits? How is that possible? So good!
Squealia replied
LOL had another rejected too!!! Oh well obviously they don’t like them! Thank you :O)
Squealia replied
The really funny thing is a naff flamingo I did and wasn’t that keen on, they went and featured the other day!

Ah, there’s no accounting for taste!!
