We have just had 4 days of miserable and wet weather, this was taken from a moving car on the way to the airport this morning, my first sun rise! Oh and a little trial of my VR lens which i bought secondhand off ebay and is my Xmas present! Santa Pola Salt Lakes, Costa Blanca, Spain

LOL Hilary it was only bad for 4 days, we desperately needed the rain, it hasn’t rained properly since May! But it’s been nice and warm today!

it was actually lighter than this, but as we were moving I stuck the camera on sports mode for a quick shutter and it is really under exposed but has worked in it’s favour i think. Thanking you :O)

LOL the bird was a lucky bonus, now i have some sort of zoom i will drive up there one day with intention of snapping some feathered friends, there’s a huge variety including hundreds of Flamingos. Another image I may upload later caught some waders and flamingos on the lake, thanking you for your kind comment

vibration reduction, it reduces camera shake, which would have been a serious issue in a moving car, I have tried to take photos crossing teh lakes before with my 18-55mm normal lens, and point and shoot cameras, but they were all rubbish, now I have played with my Xmas pressie, (I’ll wrap it for my hubby to give me nearer Xmas, LOL) I am quite excited! Thanking you.
