What an outstanding image, wonderful work!

Great job of masking/selection, and there’s lots of tricky bits to deal with like the tail and the reins (did I spell that right?). But what really makes this convincing is the compatibility between the lighting on the subject and the sky… it’s like the position of the light source is the same in both shots, which for me is the most important aspect of photomontage. Your composition is also excellent, and I love your square crop. Awesome job!!

This is a beautiful work of art! I just wish however that there was just a little more of what photographers call “looking room”( space in front of the subject).

Yes, it could be pretty easy to do, for sure! just add a little more canvas on the right hand side and clone in some clouds! It is a lovely piece of work and I can imagine it would sell as prints!

Great work Squealia. I’ve been fiddling with photoshop and the blur tool on the edges really helps blend the object you’ve added the the background and make it look smooth. I think you’ve done a great job with this and I wanted to share a tip.

Yeah, mine was a cheapie too (well for me to afford it wasn’t, but yeah) Its a FujiFilm S5800, 8mp and 10x zoom
I’ve been really enjoying it, having had a 3mp 3x zoom camera before Lol. How are you finidng yours?

Nikon D40 Cost £130 off ebay. Official refurb by Nikon….. dying to try out some different stuff with shutter speeds etc, but daughter only just gone back to school, mother now visiting and then in laws are over so it’ll be mid October before I get to really play I think! I want to also use my tripod, but I feel a bit silly with it!!
