Another charcoal piece, this time taken from one of my photos of my wife, Autumn.
The title is of the image is he title of one of my wife’s songs (she writes, you know. And sings, too!) and it was playing while I drew this. It just seemed to fit the picture.

Bottle by Autumn Dawn Leader
I had a bottle full of dreams
I spilled it on the floor
It stained the carpet blue
And it damaged my front door
As it rolled, it crashed and dent-ed
Everything that got into its way
I had a bottle full of dreams
But the bottle got away
Filled it up with other things, I did
Filled it up with wine
Filled it up with more regret
Filled it up with time
I had a bottle full of dreams
But the bottle got away

I’ve been taking photographs since 1997 and I still love it. After a brief dislike of photomanipulation I now use Photoshop extensively on a majority of my work. People are my favourite subject and I’m always on the look out for new models, so drop me a line if you’re interested! :)
