Good evening (I got fed up with saying hello…). 6th May and number 126 in the ongoing 365 image mega series.
Taken this evening at home. A close up of my daughter’s eye. She was very patient with me and held as still as she could while I messed around!
Levels adjustment, high pass filter layer at five pixels, black and white layer blended with overlay, flattened, duplicated again and converted to black and white again, then the iris selectively coloured. This was then placed on to two texture layers, blended with hard light and partially erased, as usual!
Canon EOS 20D / Cosina 100mm macro lens.

I’ve been taking photographs since 1997 and I still love it. After a brief dislike of photomanipulation I now use Photoshop extensively on a majority of my work. People are my favourite subject and I’m always on the look out for new models, so drop me a line if you’re interested! :)

You’ve done well here Jamie, holding the attention of any child is difficult at the best of times.
She really must be very patient or out to impress Dad for an increase in her pocket money. LOL
Great shot, well done.
David
She doesn’t get pocket money yet, so it must be patience! Thank you, David. :)
