Hello. 23rd March and number eighty-two in the 365 image mega series.
I’m cutting it very fine tonight. 11.27pm as I type, but we did get a babysitter for the evening so we got to go out for a meal before going to our church group, so that’s why I’m late! The title comes from the name on the padlock.
Taken this morning after I’d nipped into the Empress Road shop in Loughborough before going to work. O wanted to give it a retro, oldie kind of look, like stepping back in time, so I did all this listed below…
Levels, contrast and saturation (blues and reds) adjustment, high pass filter overlay at 3 pixels, black and white conversion, lightness adjusted, sepia toning and a texture layer overlay reduced to 50% opacity, plus some dodging around the edges to fade them out.
Canon EOS 20D / Canon USM 28mm-105mm lens.
