Hello, and welcome to number forty-nine of the mega 365 image series on this day (night) of 18th February.
Another late one, this was only taken at nine o’clock this evening and I finished post work at about 10.10pm.
I’ve had the idea for this shot for a long time. I work for a replacement window company (sorry) and when the fitters bring back the old doors for disposal they sometimes have the old keys in them. Some don’t, because the customers think that if the fitters have the old key they can get in through the new door. Truth. Anyway, I’ve been collecting the keys for quite some time, just for this piece. I hope you like it.
Levels and contrast adjustment, high pass layer overlayed at 3 pixels and black and white conversion. Some burning so the texture layers would show darker on the left. A total of six texture layers were added and partially erased, all at varying opacities.
Canon EOS 20D / Canon USM 28mm-105mm lens.
