Old Folk's Holiday by SquarePeg

Taken in Weymouth, Dorset, another life ago.

The original print (yes, print! This was taken before digital was popular!) was scanned and converted to sepia. It sat on the computer for many years gathering virtual dust until this evening when I grew bored and decided to do something with it. Which actually wasn’t much, just the addition of four layers of texture, all overlayed and reduced to 50% opacity. But it cured the boredom.

I’ve been taking photographs since 1997 and I still love it. After a brief dislike of photomanipulation I now use Photoshop extensively on a majority of my work. People are my favourite subject and I’m always on the look out for new models, so drop me a line if you’re interested! :)

Print? whats print ??? LOL Lovely work, its given it a very nice aged look!

  • Exactly! It’s becoming a forgotten art. I wish I still had a darkroom, or at least space to build a new one. Thanks, Ric. :)))
