I called this piece Spirit in the Sky because that’s what he was singing when I took the photograph. This gentleman and his dog can often be seen sitting in the Market Place in Loughborough town centre performing for beer money. This is the first of a few of him. Next time I see him I’ll ask him his name.
A straight black and white conversion wuth just a few tweaks in curves for contrast.

I’ve been taking photographs since 1997 and I still love it. After a brief dislike of photomanipulation I now use Photoshop extensively on a majority of my work. People are my favourite subject and I’m always on the look out for new models, so drop me a line if you’re interested! :)
